We are looking at TCD prices for next August and can,t believe how reasonable it is, we looked at 2 weeks flying Sunshine premium, including a 4 bed villa and 7 seater minivan for 2 adults and 2 kids = £4686

Flydrive, sunshine premium + 7 seater £3586

Now for the questions -
1. What age are children up to - we have looked and can't find out we will have a 14 yr old is he an adult or a child!!!

2. Has anyone booked a villa with TCD like this and what was it like!? we would normally look at booking a villa seperatly but the price is about the same as booking seperatly!

Any views would be appreciated!!!

When I checked out TCD last year, I rang them and they told me "children" were 16 and under (not park tickets though). I also thought their pricing very reasonable, but didn't book because there were so many bad comments about them - surly staff, lost baggage, big flight delays with a "tough luck" attitude from them.

However, I have also seen a lot of good reports, and now they've been taken over, they'll probably improve a lot.

For the £300 difference in £3,500 I didn't think it was worth the possible hassle.....though I will be keeping an eye on reports for future holidays :teeth:

We've been with them and to be honest can't fault them. They were fantastic when we were stranded out there last year due to the hurricanes unlike some other folk we spoke to at the airport who had horror stories to tell of their tour operators not giving a hoot.
We have always found them to be friendly and helpfull on the telephones even though we chopped and changed our plans after the initial booking was made.
Their prices are very competitive and the amount that we saved last year staying at AKL and Bahama bay has enabled us to go again this year. We have booked to stay in a 4 bed executive villa at Regal palms Highlands reserve for 4 adults and 2 kids 10 and 16 for under £5000 this includes sunshine upper deck and a seven seater van. and insurance for 2 adults and 2 kids (the oldies get their own ) !!
The park tickets are also good value with a 14 day disney pass at around £150. for adults.
I will also say that despite the stresses of all the holiday makers decending on the office at Lake Buena Vista the staff were very good and we didn't find any of them to be rude or unhelpful.

Good luck
