Is it okay to tip a travel agent? I've used the one I recently booked my Disney trip through for 3 past trips and she and the other girls in her office have been so nice and so helpful that I would like to give them something. Any suggestions? I don't think cash would be appropriate, i was thinking along the lines of those Edible fruit bouquets that are so nice. Any other suggestions? I would like it to be something all 3 ladies would enjoy. thank you!

I think the edible fruit is a wondreful gift:thumbsup2

If they're local, I second baking or taking something special.

If you have to do it long distance, I second the edible bouquet or just a nice floral arrangement.

In the days prior to edible bouquets, I surprised my opthalmologists assistant when I sent her flowers for services over and above what is required in her position. I had issues with a new type of contact lens and she met me at their office three times late at night to help me remove the things. You can guess what wasn't reinserted a fourth time! *LOL*

The baking is a good idea too!! I think I'll do the fruit and some cookies! Thank you for the input.

That's awful about your lenses Taja!! I wear contacts and would be lost without them.

I've had clients give me gift certificates/cards to restaurants, as well as other gifts. Hands down, the restaurant gift cards were my favorites - very well received and most appreciated. Some were for a small amount for an appy or drink, but I thought of that client and the difference I made on their vacation the entire time I dined there, and even everytime I go back.

I always give my travel agent a small gift. It's a nice way to recognize someone who consistently goes above and beyond. One year I sent her chocolates and another year I sent her a framed photo of her and her husband that I took at a Disney party.
