We will be on WBPC next May out of Miami. Using our Southwest points flying into Ft. Lauderdale so needing either rental car or private transportation down. I used a company about 12 yrs ago but can't remember which one now. Anyone have any suggestions.?
We could be a group of 8 but it may wind up just me solo. Won't know for sure til Penalty date in January.

Thanks in advance!

I did this in May. Flew into FLL, took an SAS shuttle to Holiday Inn POM, and then the next morning took a taxi to the port.

Some shuttles can only go from FLL to downtown Miami hotels, not airport or Miami Beach or other cities. It was nice to be able to just jump into a cab in the morning and go 5 minutes to the port. The shuttle was $15/person and the cab was $12 total.

You have a lot of options.

We did the WBPC this year and did something very similar to Neg58. We flew into FLL airport and stayed at a Springhill Suites nearby the day before. They had a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. On the day of our cruise, we had arranged with SAS transportation for a shuttle to the port of Miami. Very happy with their service. :thumbsup2

I booked thru http://gomjstrans.com/MJS_Trans/Home.html for our cruise next February. Its $13 per person and then $11 per person over 5. The transportation is to and from the port to a FLL hotel. They have great reviews.

I also booked with this company. They have great reviews! We used SAS for our cruise last spring break, and we ended up not arriving at the port until after 11:30. If being there early is important to you, you might want to keep this in mind. We all planned to be there much earlier than 11:30, but that didn't happen. They were timely for our ride back to FLL after the cruise though. I'd use them again but am going to give MJS a try next spring break since they get such good reviews.
