Transportion Questions???

This will be the first time we've "flown" to Disney World and for PS planning, I would just like to know how long on the average it takes from "arrival time" to "check in time". AND does anyone have any convenient ways of handling the transportion. I got some coupons for a service when I rented points for a DVC unit and wonder if I should just use them??? Do you call ahead??? Can you tell this is the first time I've flown in 24 years!!! YIKES!!!

This will also be the first time we will be "solely" dependent on Disney transportation and we're staying at AKL. What time do the buses start running in the AM for the EMH parks. We've usually taken our car to the park in the AM for EMH and used Disney transportion when we venture out again after PM break. This WILL be different for us!!! Thanks.........

the time from arrival to check in depends on how you are getting to WDW.

If you use a limo service like FL Tours (DIS sponser) will be the fastest depending on if you want a grocery stop or not. You need to call them ahead of time and reserve. They will be waiting for you at the luggage pickup

A rental car (I know you are not getting one) would be the next fastest (if you have to go to the counter to do the paperwork)

Mears would more than likely be the slowest sometimes waiting up to an hour for a shuttle to the hotel.

So:

Getting off the plane and going to luggage - 10-15 minutes
Waiting for your luggage - 15-20 minutes
Travel Time to AKL: 25-30 minutes


WDW busses start at about 7 for the EMH parks
