Transportion from ship to WDW for the day while in port

We are thinking about taking a Bahama cruise from NYC on the Norwegian Dawn. One of the ports of call is Port Canaveral, so a day trip to Disney is a natural. What is the best way to travel to and from a park for the day? Also, has anyone cruised on the NCL Dawn?

I haven't sailed on the Dawn, but I believe that they offer excursions to the Orlando themeparks when docked at Port Canaveral.

I would first see if they offer that option and see how it compares to doing it on your own.
