The airport is not close to Disney or Universal.
You can get around w/complimentary transportation from most hotels in Lake Buena Vista and Kissimme - to the Disney parks.
You can get complimentary transportation from Universal hotels to Universal.
But, from the airport- unless you stay at the airport- you will find yourself paying for either a car, taxi or shuttle bus.
It is a tourist Mecca in Orlando - everyone's gotta make a buck
