Newbie here. Aside from the monorail resorts, which resorts do you think have the best transportation? In particular to MK? Do all the resorts share a bus with another resort?

I have stayed at a wide variety of resorts and we have found the transportation at AKL to be superb. The resort does not share buses (I think it's the only one) and we never, ever waited more then 10 minutes... most times only 5 minutes.

WL has great boat transportation to MK. It shares busses to MGM and AK, and you take a bus to the TTC and transfer to the monorail for Epcot. All in all, the WL has fair to poor transportation; but, excepting the GF, the trip to MK is actually faster than the monorail in most cases.

The AS I think have by far the most organized bus service. The only downside is you stand out in the open, rather than under any kind of shelter. But we rarely have had to wait long for any AS bus. Usually 5 -10 minutes top, as an average I would guess.
POR was the absolute pits the week we were there. (A year ago this week.) We wouldn't stay there again for that alone.
CSR was pretty good, except for returning from DTD. But that stay was almost two and half years ago.
AS sometimes share busses between themselves. But they come frequently.
