Hi

Can someone please tell me the best way to get from Disneyland to Universal Studios Hollywood?

We won't need tickets - we will have a City Pass.

Thanks.

Your best bet to get to Universal is to drive or get a cab/towncar. There is an Alamo car rental agency in Downtown Disney. You can get one for just the day.

It's a fairly straight drive to Universal, too - only 1 freeway interchange to deal with Go north on the 5 up to the 101 - it's a left exit, so be warned. You'll take that until the Universal Studios exit. Be warned - it's be to do this drive before 7:30 am and return after 7 pm.

We live near Universal, so we know this well.....

Yeah Id say rent a car, thats probably your best bet. You can always call Gray Line and see if they can help you out. They generally sell tickets to the park with round trip transportation, but maybe there is a bus that will still pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel.

We are a bit timid of the drive, especially during the week day - it may be worth it to use the bus service so we arent worried about missing exits, etc.

Yeah I would totally check into Gray line then. I always buy my tickets directly through them which includes round trip fare to and from USH, but I am sure there has to be a way that you can get on board.

Even though most people think Bostonian drivers are nuts, we always hear about the freeways in CA!

Think its a safe bet to use the bus!
