I'm thinking of flying to MCO in June and don't want to rent a car. Would it make sense to stay at a Disney Resort and take a cab each day to Discovery Cove,Aquatica and Seaworld and using ME to get back and forth to the airport? I thought about staying at a Seaworld partner hotel but am nervous about getting back to the airport. I've read horror stories about people almost missing their flights when they depended on limos cabs etc. Any thoughts? We won't be visiting WDW as I only visit there when its not hot!

I been to Disney World since 2007 and have been taking a town car from FL Tours to and from the airport to a Disney Resort.

The last time I had to cancel 5 minutes before they were going to take me back to the airport. Because Delta let me know the last minute that the flight was canceled.

I left them a message and the got back to me very quickly. And when I knew when my flight was I called again and they told me when the pick up was to be.

I'm going to move this thread to the Transportation board. You should have more responses.

If you stay at a Disney resort, you have to take a cab to Seaworld because there aren't shuttles?

We used Mears. You call and tell them when you want picked up in the morning, and they give you a number to call when you are ready to go back to the hotel at night. Much cheaper round trip for 2 people than a cab.

There are plenty of dependable car services in Orlando. I would take a car service to a Seaworld friendly resort. There is no need to go to WDW, using DME. I have used both Tiffany Towncar and FL Tours, with good results.
If you aren't going to any other parks, just stay where you are planning on spending the most time.

Thank you. Do you remember roughly what the cost was roundtrip? Staying at POFQ or ASM, 3 people.

You're not going to be visiting WDW. You're not going to have a car. Stay at one of the Sea World onsite partner hotels. Some offer a free breakfast. You get complimentary "quick queue" access, early park access, complimentary transportation, dining discounts and merchandise discounts.

You can either book Mears airport transfers (shared shuttle) or book private transfers.

I can't think of any reason not to stay at a SW hotel.
