I understand that for approximately $78 we can take a Disney bus roundtrip MCO to PC. Is that only to port or will it take us to a hotel near PC the night before departure? It looks cheaper to get a hotel near PC rather than staying at the Hyatt at the airport. Or second idea - can we get a hotel near MCO the night before departure and then the next morning take hotel shuttle back to the airport to get to Disney's bus to go to PC?

The DCL shuttle only runs on cruise day and only to the DCL terminal.

The Hyatt is the more convenient option, but it comes at a price. However, if your price is higher than 229$, call DCL and you can usually book through them at that price if you prefer staying there. It is our preferred way of doing things, mainly because you get off the plane and into your room in 5 minutes, instead of continuing traveling for more than an hour. The food in the restaurants is very good, and they collect luggage inside the room so you just walk down to the shuttle, get onboard and into the terminal with only your day bag or carry-on.

There are a lot of cheaper hotels around MCO that have a shuttle or that can be reached by a short Lyft/Uber ride. You can come back to the airport and catch the DCL shuttle the morning of the cruise. You’ll need to drop off your luggage at a truck waiting nearby then get on your assigned bus once boarding is called.

Hello, we plan to fly into MCO the night before the cruise and stay at the Airport Marriott (on a free certificate) then take the hotel shuttle back to MCO in the morning to catch the first or second DCL bus to the terminal.
