Transportation to Kennedy Space Center?

We'll be in DW from Dec. 28 to Jan. 8 and thought the kids would love a trip to Kennedy Space Center. We're staying at OKW and don't plan on renting a car, but is that the best option, or are their scheduled tour buses that go there?

Any experience and opinions greatly appreciated.

I know that Mears Transportation runs a shuttle from Disney Resorts to KSC on select days. I think it runs $35 per person without admission. You can look at their website for info.

There is also a Greyline tour that will pick you up at a Disney resort and take you to the KSC, and then return you to the resort. The price includes the admission to the center. And for the fun at heart, they even have a tour of the KSC with an additional airboat ride!

It's more expensive than renting a car, but you don't have to worry about the driving and parking.
