Transportation to FW from Wilderness Lodge?

Have friends camping at Fort Wilderness during our stay and we are considering Wilderness Lodge. How is transportation between the two. Can you go by boat, bus?

Also considering a cabin at FW, but really want to stay at WL if the trans is good.

either boat or bus. we usually take the boat. however, there is a path that is a nice walk. we have never had a problem w/transportation at WL. it is one of our favorite resorts.

Main issue is after you get to Ft Wilderness (path is nice, boat is fun too) it can be a REALLY long way to their campsite depending on what loop they are on.

You may need to walk to the internal bus stop when you get off the boat and catch one of the internal buses to get to them.

The lower the number of their loop the closer they will be to the boat dock (loops 100 - 900 are a LOT closer than the loops in the 2200's+)
