transportation to ADRs

Please tell me the best transportation to my ADRs. Can I take Disney busses and such or will I need to drive?

We are staying at POR

WC @ 7:30am - May 12th
Cape May @ 7:55am - May 14th

Your best bet is to drive, especially in the early morning.

The buses start around 6:30 AM, but in order to get from resort to resort you'll need to take a bus to a park and then transfer to another bus to the resort. That could take a full hour to hour and a half to accomplish.

If you drive, hop in your car about half an hour before your reservation, drive there and you'll be there in plenty of time.


(Resort to resort transportation, along with overall slow bus service in October is largely why we're renting a car when we go back in March)

Thank you. We will have our van. I just like not having to drive during vacation. But it looks like we will need to. Where do I get directions to the other resorts? Will I have to take my van back to POR and park it for the day or should I just drive on to the park?

Last year we drove to the parks and we have the AAA parking pass which get you closer to the main gate. Worked great for Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and MGM or Hollywood what-ever. Magic Kingdom only get you to the transportation center so you have to take the momo-rail from there or the boat and sometime the wait for the boat takes forever (bus from resort to MK takes you almost to the main gate without going on momo or boat).
So 3 better to drive and 1 better to take the resort bus.
Going to other resorts to eat is much better to drive or you have to take your resort bus to DTD then bus from there to resort you are eating at. Last year drove to POR and Poly to eat.
If staying at POR take the boat to DTD it's a beautiful ride.
