Ok, after intense pressure from my kids and wife.....I gave in and booked a 7 night cruise.... The Easter cruise on April 10th.

HELP! I have alway's rented my own car in Florida, but w/ the 7 day cruise, parking costs, car rental, gas, etc. I am going to use Mears shuttle....I THINK!!!!

I heard that there is other transportation available??? Can someone help out w/ some suggestions of service....

I have a family of 4 going on the cruise..... Two boys, ages 13, and 8, and my wife and I.
I will be going directly from the airport to the port, and after the cruise directly back to the airport.....No Disney this year, going to miss not being there.

Thanks in advance!

OOOOPPPPPSSS!!!! Hey, I will need to change my signature from 4 day cruise to the 7 day cruise!!! Now, to figure out how to do that???

A lot of people use a towncar / limo service, such as FL Tours or Happy Limo, to get from the airport to the port. I think the price is around $160 round trip. This is cheaper for 4 than the DCL transfers which would run $50 per person round trip.

You can also do one-way same day car rentals between MCO and Port Canaveral. I know that Budget and Avis both have offices close to the port and they provide a shuttle. (We are using Avis for our upcoming cruise. They had the best rates for the dates we needed and since our flight home is late in the day, we wanted a car to go to DTD after the cruise.)

Good luck and have a great trip!
