Transportation question

I posted this in the transportation section of the Disboards, but I'm not so sure if it doesn't need to be posted here in the DVC section. If this is the wrong spot, I apologize. So here goes.

Ok, here's the Readers Digest version. Flying to Orlando March 24 and going to stay at OKW for two days, before going on a Disney Cruise on the 26th. Staying on points at OKW, getting there by ME. Now the tricky part. I'm cruising on cash thru RCI and my person who I booked with is not returning my calls for whatever reason. Vacation, indifference because the trip is paid for, I don't know. Will Disney pick us up at OKW and take us to the cruise? After the cruise will they take us back to the airport? And one final question, how early/late can I book the flight flying out of Orlando? Thanks for all of your help.

It looks like that wouldn't be a problem according to the disneycruiseline.com site. It does need to be arranged and paid for in advance though (I think). I would try calling the Disney cruise people directly and see what they can tell you. You can also try the cruise boards on this site.

We did this. Stayed DVC on points, cruised on cash. We were picked up at Beach Club and taken back to airport after the cruise. The transfers are expensive (I'm thinking it was $65 each way). So if there are more than 2 of you, you'd be better of renting a car.

Transfers were arranged through the cruise line. Your resort will be provided the information from the cruise line. Our information was left in our room the night before we left for the cruise; it told us what time to be at xxx location at BC for check in for transport.

Transfers are $69 round trip. For 5 people, a car would work better.
