Transportation - POR to Fort Wilderness

Help - I know buses run every 20 mins from POR - (port orleans riverside)
but can anyone provide me details or send me to a link to tell me how long it would take to get to FortWilderness? I know you can take a boat from MK to fortwilderness - so maybe I could take POR to MK then boat.

Or maybe there is another bus that goes directly from POR to Fort wilderness?

Im just trying to figure out how much time this will take..

You can't take a bus from one resort to the other. You have to go to a park or Downtown Disney first, and then go to FW from there. If you go to MK, you can take a boat to FW. DD is closest to POR so you might want to hop a bus there. Epcot is pretty close too. As far as time to get there I don't know. We are going from POR to FW in January but I think we will just drive over.

I got advice on these boards for the very same thing! You can't get a bus from POR to FW. I was correctly told that is takes a LONG time to go the POR to DD to FW route. We took the advice of many kind souls here and took a bus to MK and then hopped on a boat to FW. It was nice to ride the boat, actually. You really never know how long you are going to stand at the bus stop at POR so leave an hour to get there. I know it sounds excessive but you will be glad you did, especially if you are trying to make your reservations for the Hopp Dee Do Revue!
