As I have mentioned, it has been years since we were at Disneyworld. We used to go every few years but then life got in the way.

We used to be up early (never did get to go to a rope drop) and would spend out entire day at the parks walking around. Always went to Downtown Disney at least once. It was go, go, go! Don't quite think that will happen any more. We can walk a good part of the day but was wondering about transportation in the parks. We used to like to take the train at Magic Kingdom but I think that is gone?
Remember seeing mini buses at Epcot. Are there any other forms of transportation within the parks?

Thanks!

The train at MK is still there. It was closed for 4 years when Tron was being built, but it reopened almost 2 years ago now. I thought I heard it would close down once again for awhile when they start building the MK expansion.

They have the Main Street vehicles at MK which pick you up at the bottom of Main Street near the MK entrance and drive you to the end of Main Street in front of the castle. I don’t know how frequently they run. We usually catch one when we enter at about 9:30am. They’re fun! :)

There is a boat in Epcot that will take you across the lake. Nothing in AK or HS.
Good reason why I didn't remember seeing anything. The only in park transportation we used was the train at Magic Kingdom. We never had a need so didn't really pay attention in the other parks. Thanks!

I remember double-decker buses at Epcot, but the last time I saw them was in 1989.
The boat in Epcot is a great way to get from what used to be called Future World to World Showcase (near the 2 gift shops at the base of FW to the Morocco area.

Isn't there also a boat to Italy from this same general area? Or have they cut it down to just one?

They cut it down to one some years ago, prior to covid.

I know that when I was there in March only one was running but didn't pay much attention. We just got on the one there and rode it.

Animal Kingdom has the Wildlife Express Train to the petting zoo and animal care area. It's the only way to get there.

The double decker bus at Epcot and the streetcar and fire engine at Magic Kingdom don't run due to heavy crowds on the walkway/roadway theywould run on. (Actually I have seen the streetcar in action once in a while early in the morning, usually including a skit where they sing The Trolley Song.)
