I am going to be travelling to Orlando in April and we are mostly doing the Disney thing and staying at the Dolphin. However, we are interesting in going to universal twice, once during the day to one of the parks and again to Citywalk one night. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best (and cheapest) way to get there and back without renting a car. Are there any shuttles that are available and does anyone have any idea how much this would cost? If we didn't drive would we have to take a taxi back from Citywalk if we left at 2am? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I have kind of the same question. We've just decided to go for a quick four day trip in May since we have some extra DVC points left and $360 in a Southwest voucher, plus an annual pass to WDW which will expire in June!

We're looking to not rent a car. I'm going to try priceline and if the price is right we'll get one. But if not we'd like to head over to US/IOA for one day maybe (Hoping for Simpson's!).

What is the cheapest way to get there. What about the Lynx buses? Thanks for any info!

there is a national/alamo counter @ the dolphin

lots of codes on the transportation board & mousesavers

ps - it's a one-woman operation, she leaves prompty as to the posted hour (4 pm i believe;) ); you can drop off after hours with valet.

would think mears would pick up @ the swan/dolphin too?

Check out Mears Transportation. They run shuttles from WDW to Universal.
You were taking about coming back to WDW at 2 AM....that would be too late for Mears, so a taxi would be needed.
