Transportation from MK to MGM

Does anyone know the easiest way to get from MK to MGM? Thinking about doing an early character dinner at 4pm and then leaving to go to the Osborne Lights at MGM. Will be staying at the WL and then going to MK by boat, would it be easier to eat at a resort (like contemporay) before heading over because of transportation?

At one time we were able to get a bus to MGM from MK. However, since it tends to change a lot, I'm not sure that is still doable. What you can do though is to just walk over to the CR and hop on a bus to MGM from there. It's about an 8 minute walk, via the pathway between MK and CR,and it ends right at the bus stop.

There is no bus directly from the MK to MGM. In order to get to another park from the MK you must either take the ferry or monorail over to the TTC and take a bus to another park from there.
If your character meal is at the MK you can take the transportation to the TTC and get a bus from there, or you can walk to the CR from the MK and get the bus for MGM from the CR
