Transportation from MCO to Amtrak

DD and I are coming in on Amtrak, but picking our car up at MCO as it is 3x cheaper than Hertz at Amtrak. I'd like to return it when we take DH & DS back to MCO, but we don't leave for 6 hours later. Is there easy transportation from MCO to Amtrak? Is there a mall or somewhere we could go hang out for a few hours, then get transport to Amtrak? My Sister or Niece from Lakeland might be able to transport us, but need to look into all options.
