My girlfriend and I are planning our next trip to Orlando for May 2011, However, having previously visited with either my own, or girlfriends parents, this time we're going alone. Im 20 years old and my Girlfriend is 19 so renting a car is out of the equation, so we're a little worried about being in Orlando for 14 nights without a car. Usually if we needed to go anywhere, we'd have others in our party that could drive, so we've gotten used to trips to Walmart, International Drive for evening meals, and getting to the other parks we like to attend, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Can anyone tell me how they get around this problem? Are there shuttle buses to the likes of the Universal Resort and International Drive stop offs, or are there any other means of transport?

We're pricing up the Old Key West Resort so I know we'll be fine with transportation around Disney, But we'd like to venture out of the resort on a few occasions, perhaps a day shopping at the Florida Mall, or Prime/Premium outlets, and a few other parks so we'd struggle if there was a lack of transportation. My parents are going out in early June of next year, So we're just trying to assess every possible major problem before booking our own trip, and if we find something that concerns us to much, we'll just book to go along with my parents, so I suppose it wont be a massive loss.

Anyway, thanks for any help
Dan.

I have also just realised there is a Transportation Board which I probably should have put this post in. I am so sorry.
