This will be our 1st time staying in WDW. We are at All Star Music and one day (maybe two) we want to go to Sea World.....uhm, how does one do that? Taxi? Are there any bus services? If there are bus/shuttle services, does anyone know schedules? The main reason I'm questioning is because we may do breakfast at another resort that morning (on DDP) and would like to know when to schedule ressie for breakfast.
TIA

Check the Sea World Board. Full instructions are there.

You have several options....call a cab, rent a car, reserve a towncar, or take the Lynx bus from TTC. We did that in '03 and it worked quite well. There are bus schedules at the TTC or you can go to www.golynx.com and check out the times. You will be looking for bus (route) 56. It is about the second bus in the line at the TTC. Have $1.50 per person, each way..in exact change. When you get on the bus tell the driver you want to go to SeaWorld, so he will know to stop there. Then, you will be dropped at the parking lot entrance...cross the lot and you'll be at the entrance to the park. Reverse it all going back.
You could eat at either Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, 1900 Park Fare and be able to get back to the TTC via the monorail quite easily.

Have the front desk call Mears shuttle for you, when we were at POP a couple weeks ago, we went to Universal for the day. Mears charged us $15 round trip per person. The driver told us they went to Seaworld also!

By the time you add a 4th person to the group the Mears shuttle will run $60.00 round trip. You can do a roundtrip in a Mears taxi, to Sea World, for up to 7 persons for about $40.00 and to Universal for about $70.00.

The taxis are available when you want them and the Mears shuttle are available when you schedule them to pick you up or when they want to be there to pick you up. It usually turns out much better by cabbing with the Mears Taxi.

We did a taxi from Port Orleans Riverside 2 weeks ago to Sea Wrold (family of 5) for $21 each way. A little bit more expensive than the public bus, cheaper than shuttles, and very convenient. When we left the park, there were several taxis just waiting. So you can come and go as you please.
