Transportation for morning ADRs

We have 8:30 ADRs at Akerhaus and CRT. What time should we leave FW to arrive in sufficient time? Also, what is the earliest the buses and boats start running to MK and Epcot? Just trying to decide if we should drive on those mornings or take transportation.

The boat and bus start about on hour before park opening. This includes EMH mornings. If you're a bit late we've never had a problem.

Is there a line for the first boat? Is it full? Sometimes about 20-15 mins before MK RD there can be a good line for the boat, never left that early for the park. This trip in May we have an ADR for breakfast so was wondering.

There tends to be somewhat of a line. Trick is getting there early and being at the front.

Does it take longer to get to EPCOT from FW? Both of our ADRs are at 8:30. Also, do you take a bus from FW to get to EPCOT? Just trying to figure out my plan ahead of time!

Bus to MK.
To Epcot: 1. bus to MK and monorail to Epcot.
2. bus to Epcot

I think the direct route is faster. It's 10 minutes to MK via boat and 20 or 25 minutes to Epcot via bus. This is once you're on the transportation.

You take a bus from your loop to the Outpost then get the bus to Epcot. The buses start running about 1 hour prior to opening.

Another alternative is a buss from your loop to the Outpost, then a bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center, then the monorail to Epcot. If you take the boat to MK, then you need to take the monorail to the TTC then change to the Epcot Monorail.

My suggestion, if you have a car use it for the trip to Epcot. This is much more predictable in terms of time, and you will get a good parking spot that early in the morning - right by where the buses drop off from the resorts.

Oh, if you drive you can also go to the Boardwalk, park, then enter through the International Gateway to the World Showcase.

We went to the MK Tues. 24th for an early AM ressie at CP and the small boat that circles the lake started at 6:45 - we took that to Contemporary and then walked the short distance to MK. If you ask them, they send a bus around the resorts about the same time, and you take the internal bus out to the Outpost and the bus will drop you off at your resort ressie. You have to allow plenty of time though, as it will make several stops. They WILL make sure you have a way to get to your early ressies This is entirely separate from the normal bus running times so you have to make sure you tell them it's for an early ressie - good luck
