UUGGHHH none of the transportation companies list how many people they can transport.

we have 14 total- 7 adults
7,8,9,9,13,13,15 year old kids.

We'll be need transportation from MCO to POFQ and MCO...grocery stop would be great so the moms could stop and grab some stuff...

Anyone have this many people or know the sizes of different companies vans?

Or STRETCH HUMMERS????? the kids would FREAK!!!!!

We are in the same exact situation! 14 people - 7 adults, 7 children.

I have searched extensively for a company that services Orlando and has limo type vehicles to transport all of us together. The following companies at least advertise that they have such vehicles for 14 people. I have also spoken to some of these companies to confirm this:

Mystic Limousine Service
Atlantis Limousine Service
Aristocrat
Star Cruiser Transportation
A1 Luxury Limousine
Gold Star Limousine
Five Star Limousine
Happy Limo

There are many other companies that have vans, executive vans, small buses, or limo buses that hold 14+ people, but I am looking for a fancy stretch SUV limo type of vehicle so we can start our trip with lots of fun and style.

Hopefully, one of the above companies can meet your needs. Happy Limo's Hummer sounds tempting, but there is another thread containing numerous complaints about them. We used them a couple of years ago, and will not use them again based on our experience. We have also used FL Tours and they were very good, but they do not have any super stretch SUV type limos.

Good luck, and let me know if you find any other companies to add to my list.

Hi

We just booked a stretch SUV limo from Bestway Transportation- we are only taking it one way from the airport and it is $150.00. I believe they quoted round trip to be $285.00. It seats either 14 0r 16...I am leaning on 16... I tried to find my email from them but I can't find it- lost in cyberspace.

Check out their website-

Good luck!

Last week we used Southern Elegance's mini-bus

************************************

It hold 15 people, but we were a group of 11, 5 of which were car-seated kids. We had plenty of room. It also held all of our luggage in a rear compartment & there was more room in the front for bags (we put our groceries there after our stop at Albertsons).

Just make sure if you are getting a big limo that there is ample space for all of your luggage, or you may end up paying more for a second vehicle that would transport luggage.

ok, someone help me out....why was the link to Southern Elegance ****'d out above? Did something happen that I don't know about??

Nevermind, I found the thread.

Wow, lots of drama last week!

Thanks Lisa/Harligirl

I checked out Bestway's website and gave them a call. I was quoted $375 plus gratuity roundtrip from the MCO Hyatt and Port Canaveral. It sounds like you got a good deal, or maybe the man who answered the phone gave me a bad quote.

Anyway, I may end up going with Bestway because the 16 passenger SUV limo seems ideal. I also like the fact that you don't have to pre-pay. Some other companies, like A1 Luxury Limousine/Star Cruisers, required payment up front. That always makes me a bit nervous (and suspicious).

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Kimwim8 - We've decided to indulge a bit by booking a SUV limo type of vehicle so that we can start the trip off in a very fun and stylish way! Therefore, I was wondering whether the van from Southern Elegance is a regular van or something more luxurious.

For our size group (11) we had to use a mini-bus through Southern Elegance. It was clean, had nice seats, had a vcr/tv combo that allowed us to watch a Disney movie during our transport. Was similar to a luxury bus, with the nice sized-cloth seats.

Not what I'd call stylish, but it fit in our budget, and allowed us to all ride together, including all of our luggage.

Have a great time!
