Transportation between two Resorts

So my DBF and I are going to be staying in POP while the rest of the crew of 5 will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Most days we'll just be able to meet at the parks but I was wondering for days when we'll be going to Universal Studios or where ever else I was wondering what would be the best way to get to the other resort? Most likely on Universal days, we'll want to leave in the morning and meet at Port Orleans so we can all take a cab together.

Will my DBF and I have to go through bus transportation to a park and then Port Orleans or what?

Get the taxi at pop, have the driver go to PO to pick up the rest of your group and continue on to Universal.

We actually usually use the small buses that offer transportation.

There is no resort to resort bus transportation, so you would have to go to a park and then take the appropriate bus to the resort. If you get a cab, you will need to specify how many are in your party when you order it so they can bring a big enough vehicle.
