I know that you cannot take a bus from your resort to another...that you have to go to a park and then take the transportation from there. So this is what I have planned...but not sure if this is the best route??
We are staying at POP century,

To the polynesian I figured you take a bus to the MK and then hop the monorail to the poly

To Old Key West (breakfast ressies at 9:25am) hop a bus from pop to dtd then ferry to okw (do the ferries even run this early??)

To the dolphin for dinner at shula's..take bus from pop to epcot and then ferry over to the dolphin.

1. How late do the ferries stay open? If we have dinner ressies for 8pm, and epcot closes at 9pm we won't make it there for a bus. So should I plan on getting a taxi?

2. how early do the ferries start running? If I need to get to okw should I plan on an alternate route?

Thanks so much for any help that anyone can give to me!!

I'm not sure about your ferry question, but I would advise against your POP-Dolphin strategy. The bus will drop you at the front gate to EPCOT, while the Friendship boats run from the International Gateway exit. You'd have to enter and walk through the park. If you really wanted to ride the Friendship boats, take the bus to DHS instead, and then ride from there. Otherwise, take the bus to EPCOT and then the bus to the Dolphin.

If Hollywood Studios is open late, you could take the Friendship Water taxi or walk from the Dolphin over to DHS and catch a Pop Century bus there.Other options would be a taxi or bus from the Dolphin to Downtown Disney and transfer to a Pop Century bus there.I am not sure how early you could catch a bus Pop Century to Downtown Disney or a ferry from DTD to Old Key West.I don't think they run that early.I would catch a bus from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios and catch an Old Key West bus there.:)

Unfortunately, there is no Bus transportation from the the "front" of Epcot to the Crescent Lake Resorts.:)

Thanks for the advice! It never clicked to me to just catch a bus from from the dolphin to dtd

And the okw advice is great. I hear the buses can take awhile catching them there at dtd

After some thought,I think if money is not a concern, taking a taxi from Shula's to Pop Century and a taxi from Pop Century to Olivia's would be WELL WORTH IT!:)The other parts of your transportation plan should be no problem.:)

My bad. I knew that. Sorry to the OP for mis-information.

So I can't catch a dolphin bus from epcot?
No,you would have to enter Epcot and walk to the "Back" entrance of Epcot, the International Gateway, and catch a Friendship Water Taxi there. As a PP mentioned,if you don't want to do that, you can just take a bus from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios and catch a Friendship Water Taxi to the Dolphin from there.:)

Thanks for the help guys. So basically if I don't want to do any taxi's (aand not saying I won't in the end)

The best bet is to take the pop bus to hollywood studios and take the ferry. do they have a bus outside of hs to the dolphin? is the dolphin really in walking distance?

And to get to okw the best bet is to take a pop bus to hollywood studios and then catch the okw bus

Yes, your best bet is to catch the bus to DHS and either take the Friendship boats or walk. It is within walking distance. Probably about a 10-15 minute walk. Other than the part where you go under the freeway for a minute, it's a very pleasant stroll.

As for POP-OKW, I can't think of a better way at that time other than transferring at either DHS or EPCOT. I'd probably hop on the first one of those busses that came by, and then transfer at that park.

Yes,the Pop Century bus to DHS/boat to the Dolphin will be no problem. There is no bus transportation from DHS to the Dolphin(or any Crescant Lake Resort). The Dolphin IS in walking distance from DHS,but the boats are more FUN!:)It is about a ten minute walk from DHS to the Dolphin. There is a Bus Stop at the Swan/Dolphin that has all of the bus routes available from Disney Bus Transportation. That early in the morning,Pop Century to DHS to OKW will probably be best, but you would have to be sure to allow enough time.I REALLY think a taxi is the way to go here.:)

Thanks alot for the help. So the dolphin doesn't have bus service from hollywood studios? Can you walk to it from epcot?

Where do you get the ferry at in dhs? is it up front?
Yes,you cannot miss Lake Hollywood. The "dock" is on the right, down a short walkway,as you walk from the Bus Stops to the turnstiles at DHS.The walkway to the Dolphin is on the opposite side of Lake Hollywood from the "dock".:)
