Transportation at Treehouse Villas

Hey everyone,

I know they recently shook up a lot of the transportation at the SSR THV. Can someone let me know what the current transportation setup is like for the THV.

I am heading there with a group of 8 in early October. My first stay there!

There is still an internal shuttle, it now includes all five stops within SSR plus the two THV stops. There is no direct theme park transportation from THV, you would need to get over to one of the stops at the main resort. Reportedly, no buses to Disney Springs (except possibly if inclement weather prevents them from running the boat).

I love the treehouses, but the transportation situation is horrible. We ask for a treehouse near the pool, and when we want to take a bus somewhere we walk across to the grandstand section and take the bus from there. If you look at the map there's a sidewalk---just follow it and make a left.

But generally we rent a car and drive. We use the bus to go to MK, or if I'm planning on having a bit to drink. Have varied bus, boat, or walk to DS. But for theme parks except for MK the parking really isn't that far anyway.

We haven't been since they've changed the bus routes, but I don't think that would impact our basic plan. If you work out the extra time it takes to wait for the internal shuttle twice a day, you're losing an hour out of your day. Just not worth it.
