Transportation airport

I guess it depends on what you consider inexpensive, but we have used Away We Go Transportation many times. We just used them a few weeks ago. The cost was $134 each way (including tax and tip) and they can take up to 11 people for that price. Their drivers have always been professional and on time.

I had a good experience last fall with Gear Fusion. They have a variety of vehicles to accommodate different party sizes. Prices were reasonable too. I think I paid around 100.00 one way for 2 people in a midsize SUV. They were very professional and on time.

We had a party of eight go to Disney in January. I looked into a lot of "airport to hotel" options. Cheapest depends on who is paying. If everyone is paying for their own transportation, assuming you want to travel as a group, then probably Mears is the way to go. If one person is paying the entire bill, then Mears gets pricey for seven people. And, you spend a long time on the bus. I also looked into Uber and rental cars. I finally decided to get a town car service to and from the airport. This included a stop at a Publix grocery store, where we had preordered food. I think we used Tiffany Towncar. The car showed up on time, and the driver was nice. Getting our Publix groceries took about ten minutes.

The cheapest option for 7 people would probably be to do two rideshares. It does somewhat depend on what time of day you're arriving as surge pricing is a factor, but you're visiting during a low crowd time, so rates should be pretty reasonable overall. If you don't want to do that, like others have said, check Mears Connect (if Mears goes to your hotel) for a shared shuttle or Away We Go for a private transfer. The private transfer is a flat rate while the shared shuttle is priced per person, so with 7 people, Away We Go is not going to be that much more expensive than Mears.

7 people with luggage. Get quotes from car service companies. FL Tours is a board sponsor. Gear Fusion gets good reviews.

We don't have that large a group, just the 3 of us using the car service because even when it's an extended family trip everyone is arriving at different times. But, Mears has a town car service that is around $160 each way for an SUV (or van in the case of your group).

We like it because we arrive during off times, usually landing shortly before midnight or around 7 in the morning. In either case, it's nice to have a private car that is ready to go when we land. The driver has always been waiting for us at the bottom of the escalator heading down to baggage claim, super friendly, clean vehicles, and fwiw, the gratuity is included in the cost.

If your travel group is splitting the cost the price per person is not bad, either.
