Hi!

We have an 11:00 flight (SW) out of MCO after our cruise in May. I know this is earlier than recommended, but for many reasons we are going to keep it. We will be doing Express Walk-off and would like to book our own transportation in order to get to the airport quickly and not wait on a Disney bus to be full. We have 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids). Can anyone recommend a RELIABLE company we could use for transportation that will be there waiting to pick us up? And also, what time should I have them be at the port? Thanks!

www.selimo.net. We have used them for over a decade and they have never let us down. We have done multiple stops on a trip (airport to Universal, Universal to port, port to Disney) too. They will also include a 20 minute stop at a grocery store to pick up supplies.

We have same issue in two weeks. We've used Happy Limousine in the past and were pleased.

Thanks to you both. This is not our first cruise but the first time we've rushed off the ship. Do you think 8 am is the earliest time we should request the car to arrive?

In fall 2014 I had a conference to attend at a WDW resort teh same day we disembarked from our cruise on the Fantasy.

My solution:

Express Walk-off. Pickup by Quicksilver town car service at IIRC 0730. Drop off at the resort we were staying at & checkin. Then I took a cab to the resort the conference is at.

It worked well. The town car was there waiting for us.

The downside: hauling ALL of our stuff off the boat was a pain -- there are a couple points on the exit ramps that are not friendly with luggage wheels. not so much a problem with one carry-on - you can pick it up easily - but a bigger challenge with checked and carryon baggage. More an annoyance than anything.

It really depends on when Disney gets cleared and opens the gangway. We have had a couple of times where we were delayed and had to wait until almost 8:30 before they even started letting people off. :confused3

My parents and inlaws did express walk off this past December. The in laws had a flight right before noon. They used Cocoa Beach shuttle. They were all on their way to airport by 7:30 that morning. My dad called at 9 and said they were at airport and waiting.
