Transport question and a hello again!

Hello everyone! I haven't been on here in a very long time in fact since the last time I was on here I had my two week holiday at wdw (The one I wrote a PTR for...oops) But I'm back and with a new trip planned For Feb 2015 (two weeks) either with my friend or without! Eek Solo trip.

Anyway my question is can you rent a car out for a day and also can it be dropped of on resort or would you somehow have to get to somewhere to pick a car up?
Planning on one day at the outlets and think this may be the best way to go about it. If not tips appreciated

You can't pick up or drop off a rental car at your resort but there are places on property to do so. National and Alamo services are available at the Car Care Center (they offer a free shuttle to pick you up when renting and drop you off after returning) and Dolphin.

You would be better off asking a transportation question on the transportation board. Here is the sticky from that board that will help in renting a car while at WDW
