Transport between WDW and Universal?

Is there any kind of transport available between WDW and Universal (vans, shuttle buses, etc) ??? Going to the world and would like to visit Universal also and was wondering if a rent a car was necessary or if there were other ways to get there.

Taxi
3rd party transportation (Mears, Your Ride, etc.) (www.mears.com)
Orlando bus system, Lynx (www.golynx.com)
Rent a car

On the Universal Planning video, it said there was complimentary bus transportation to Disney World and Sea World.

The Universal Hotels provide complimentary transportation to SeaWorld, but not to WDW.
