Transfers for the DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise

How many in your party will want transfers to/from the port

The four of us definitely need the return from port to MCO and would use the gracious DU offer.

we might take you up on the dolphin to port as well. Right now we have a rental car we are using for a few days before the cruise, so i would just need to find where to drop the car near WDW that am to return it then (we had planned to drive and drop it at port). I have a feeling it will be a fun bus ride! :rotfl:

Michelle, I don't know which company it is, but there is a car rental place at the Swan/Dolphin, so if you go with that company, you can just return your car at the hotel.

Alamo/National has a drop off at the Dolphin.
 

Very cool. I just voted "2" too! Phillip and I would definitely take a taxi from VWL to the Dolphin to ride the (free) PARTY BUS to the port and we can always schlep our luggage from the Dolphin over to BWV after the bus ride back for our post-cruise stay.

I talked to DH about it and he said he didn't care either way. He said to go for the DU transfers because "you'll probably want to start spending time with your pod people as soon as possible." :rotfl: I promise he'll get it once he gets there and meets everyone. In the meantime, just know that you're "my pod people".

How awesome would it be to start the party early like that?!!:woohoo:
 
we are booked with Budget. i might still be able to find a return somewhere nearby surely.

Tracy- sorry, we won't use the return ride, i just realize you said it was going back to Dolphin, not MCO. but we might take the ride out, save us the trip of having to return the car at port!

Budget has a location on Hotel Plaza Blvd at the Doubletree.

Yes, I agree. This is very generous of Dreams. I will have to take a taxi from the Beach Club after breakfast as I will have my luggage. I may, however, use DCL tranfers after the cruise as it will take me directly to POR.

With the little hat....and the Rhythm Nation headset.

I do have some questions:
* Is there going to be a limit to the maximum people that can use the transfers? Only 1 bus or is it just open for everybody?
* The last morning we have late breakfast (because we have second dinning) is this a problem?
* There is a pre-cruise breakfast meet on the morning of the cruise, will this be a problem or will the bus leave the Dolphin later in the morning?
* will there be a limit on the suitcases?

I understand when not all the questions can be answered already, i understand that you are just in the beginning of the planning fase and have not yet determined all the little details......
But i can't help myself having OCPD (obsessive compulsive planning disorder).

There will be a cut off to getting on the bus, however, it will not be limited to one bus (we already have one bus filled here).

Many of the cruisers have second dining. We will work out the transfers to fit with the cruisers using the transfers.

The time the bus(es) will leave will be set later.

Luggage issues will also be determined later. It will depend how many people we have using the transfers.
