Transfers and Use Years

I have a couple of questions and would appreciate any responses.

I am still in my June 2005 use year. I have already had some 2005 points transferred into this year with plans of still banking them into 2006 if they are not used and it is necessary to do so. I am still within banking timeframes.

If another DVCer is already in his 2006 use year, is it possible for him to transfer those points into my 2005 year and have these points bankable for me to 2006 if needed.

The reason I would not want them transferred directly into my 2006 year is that (I believe I am correct in thinking) that if points are transferred iINTO my 2006 account, that later on I would not be allowed to transfer points OUT of my 2006 account. Therefore, I would want them originally in 2005 with availability for banking into 2006.

Do I need to try to find someone with June or later 2005 Use Year to transfer these points who has my same home resort?

I think your stuck there - You can't borrow points to transfer - and that is what they would have to do to get them into your 2005 UY. They can only Transfer them into your 2006 - as far as what I've been told. But this shouldn't affect any banking or borrowing on your account - only transferring points out of your account.
