Transferring to Costco Question

I've booked several cruises in the past where I put down the initial deposit on DCL and then transferred to Costco to get the cash card, so I understand the process of how to do that. Last night I booked a Disney cruise through the DCL website because I needed a handicap accessible room and Costco wasn't showing the same room available, so I just went ahead and booked on DCL. Problem is, the cruise is in May 2023 and it required me to pay in full, not just put down a deposit. Am I out of luck transferring it to Costco now to get the cash card? I read through several threads and someone said that you can add on the prepaid gratuitites and then you wouldn't be "paid in full" and could transfer it but I wasn't sure if that actually worked or not. I'm really mad at myself because thats a lot of money to miss out on from Costco if I did it wrong.
Thanks

My understanding is you cannot transfer if already PIF. That cash card comes from the commission DCL pays TAs - and if Costco had no involvement in the booking/paying there is no reason for DCL to pay them a commission.

I'm not sure about the "add gratuities" suggestion, but it may work if outside of the PIF date and someone paid it off early.
