Transferring Tickets

So we made a kind of stupid mistake in my household tonight. I asked my husband to go online and purchase our Christmas Party tickets (we had been holding out, still trying to decide which night to go). He did go online and purchase, but unfortunately he used his computer, which stays logged into his old MDE, and bought the tickets under than account. Now everything else for our trip is under my MDE account, our hotel reservation, other tickets, magic bands, etc. Has anyone ever transferred tickets from one MDE account to another? The fine print on the tickets reads that the tickets are "nontransferrable" however Disney's own FAQ website says that tickets can be transferred if they are unused. Worst comes to worst we'll just print the tickets from his old account and use paper tickets from the night but I'd like to link them to our magic bands if possible.

Link his MDE to your MDE account. After the accounts are linked, reassign the ticket entitlements to the correct people.

After the party entitlements have been reassigned, you can enter the party using your MBs.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of linking MDEs, just enter the party using the paper print-outs.

This should work, but I've had trouble with the kids in one account showing up for the second. You might have to call tech support.

Is there a compelling reason to have them reassigned? Most folks prefer to NOT have the party tickets on their MB so that there is no snafu as to which tickets are used when entering for the party.

I would not sit on hold waiting for tech support to straighten something out that does not really need to be fixed. Just take the read out from your husbands purchase and get the RFID tickets at any Guest Services or Ticket Window anytime before the party if he did will call.

Exactly! They can enter with the paper tickets. I dont see the need to transfer them to be honest? I had my party ticket linked to my other account. I did "will call" for pickup and used the ticket just fine. No issues at all.

Ah, I didn't even think about it like that. I'm just so used to using the Magic Band for everything! But you're right, without FP+ there's nothing else we'll need the tickets for besides getting in. I assume we can still pay for things and get photos synced to the photo pass account with Magic Bands. I think I'll just leave them be after all. Thanks!
