Transferring Points Question

Are there any situations where transferred points show up online giving you the ability to book online? I've read that you must call but saw a reference to points of the same resort and UY showing up online.

If you transfer in points that are the same resort and UY as one of your own contracts, then MS can put those transferred points into that contract. You will see them online (your point total in that contract will increase) and you can use them to book online.

If you transfer in points that do not match a resort and UY that you own, MS has no place to put the transferred points so they have to be tracked manually. You will not see them in your account and cannot use them to book online.
