While you can transfer the points from one account to another, (just like from one member to another member), technically the points are suppose to retain their original resort and Use Year, so it wouldn't do you any good if your purpose is to bank them. When transferred, they do not change into VWL Dec UY points.
Now, having said that, note that
DVC's computer system often has trouble with transfers. It's been reported in the past from people that during a transfer the home resort did switch for the transferred points, and it's possible Use Year months may switch. They're not suppose to according to DVC's policies. Obviously if it were suppose to be that way, it would be a loophole around the banking deadlines, as well as a loophole around some other issues as well, such as getting home resort advantages at a non-home resort just by transferring points between contracts.
We know DVC is working on the computer issues to fix these glitches. As to what will happen if you transfer points all depends at this time upon the programming fixes DVC may have already initiated.
But as Dean suggests, you may be able to bank them under the BWV contract, depending on if you've banked many of your BWV points already or not. All points for all contracts under the same master number (membership number) are combined to determine banking percentages. They can even be at different resorts.
