Transferring OBC to Cat 12

Is this possible? I have a cruise booked in Feb, but thinking about changing to another in a cat 12 cabin. Can you transfer both your discount and OBC to a cat 12? Decisions, decisions.

Yes I do believe you can. Although we stayed in the same cat we did move our cruise to december from november

If you are trying to transfer an onboard booking to another date and a cat 12, you can keep your OBC but you do not get the 10% discount. But usually the prices of the cat 12's come out much better than a 10% discount on any of the other cats!

I don't think you can keep both. The cat 12's have restrictions. Are you OK with being in a Cat 12 if that's what you end up with? That is always a possibility if you book it and your party fits in it.

I second this. I'd previously transferred an onboard booking to a Cat 12 and received the OBC but not the 10% discount (which was still cheaper than booking a Cat 11 with a 10% discount.)

The 10% discount is not available for cat. 12 cabins, but it is for cat. 11C (in 2011)! I booked an 11C on the Dream for February, then rebooked onboard the Wonder and got a 10% discount.

this is my biggest fear in booking a 12 gt. there is only two of us and even though we would save tons i'm not sure i'd be happy there and i'm pretty sure we would be placed there.....
