transferring deposit for package

Hi all...
I have a package booked directly through disney's website, with about half the package paid for. I'm outside my 45 day window, with no purchased insurance. I have to cancel my wdw package but will immediately be booking a disneyland package. (Total price will be a little less than deposit I already have applied).

Can I call 407 wdisney and have them cancel, reapply and book for me? Or will I need to cancel, wait for my refund, then book? The reason id like to just transfer, other than the convenience, is because id like to book the disneyland trip for june. Thank you for any help!

AFAIK, they are two separate companies altogether and you can't book Disneyland packages through the 407-WDW #.

Pretty sure Vicki_c is right.

If that is the case, they will need to issue a refund to the card used. While this normally takes 7-10 business day, it CAN take longer depending on a number of factors. I think Disney says up to 2 billing cycles. So, don't expect a refund to post right away.
