Transfer & Store Luggage

I know it is possible to get your luggage transferred when you are doing a split stay but is it possible to get your luggage transferred and then have it stored whilst we do a cruise?

We are staying at OKW and then have a 4 night cruise then ending with 4 nights at the Poly.

if they can store fridges for folks(re things like pop fridge swap)think they can do it for cases.Why not e mail disney to find out

When we did our cruise we were told no but I'm sure I've heard about people doing it on here so possibly. Check with the hotel.

Yesterday I was on the phone to DVC member services and I asked a very similar question.

Next year we are stopping 6 nights at Boardwalk, then flying t NY for 6 nights before heading to Saratogo Springs resort back at WDW

Member services put me through to the bell services department at SSR and I asked whether it was possible to leave 1 case behind in storage. Once he understood that a case was a piece of luggage he told me it was no probelm. Just get bell services at board walk to send it to SSR and they would hold it till we got back.

Now I dont have anything in writing but I will confirm with at board walk a bit nearer the time.

I dont think you'll have a problem.

In April/May we did AKL, Disney cruise, BCV. I emailed and asked if BCV would hold one piece of luggage whilst we were on the cruise (7 nights). They replied saying they could not. I then heard that many others had indeed been able to store their luggage at their resort for this very same reason. When it came time for us to transfer to our cruise we were prepared to take this extra case onto the cruise just incase we had to, however we popped into the BCV and bell services immediately took the case from us and said there was no problem in their holding it for the week.

I guess I will not know for sure until I speak to bell services at OKW but if we have to take it with us then not too much of a problem.

I think it will be fine as bell services at BCV did tell us that they do hold luggage all the time for people on the cruise.
