Transfer Questions Two Use Years

I have transfer questions.

1) Are October 2022 UY points able to be transferred yet? I understand we are still in October 2020 UY but also that a reservation 10/1/2021 through 6/24/2021 could be made today with borrowed 2022 points.

if yes....

2) Am I able to transfer both UY Oct 2021 and UY Oct 22 on same day from same membership to same person (two different membership numbers for person receiving), or does that count as two transfers for me and break the rule? Or would I need to do one transfer before Oct 1 and the other after Oct 1 (to space transactions into two different use years)?

Transferred points can not be borrowed. But, right now you can transfer 2020 and 2021 UY points.

The rule is one in or out per UY, so you can send both 2020 and 2021 the same day and it counts as your 2020 and 2021. The only thing is that to send 2020, the owner can not yet be in their 2021 UY.

Once we get to Oct 1st, you can transfer 2021 and 2022. But those 2022 points can still only be used for trips starting Oct 1st, 2022, not before since that would require them to be borrowed.

Transferred points can, however, be banked as long as one is still in the banking window for the points.

Thanks! So I'll need to wait until Oct 1 to transfer the Oct 2022 UY points. Person receiving has two member numbers so I'm not expecting a problem on that end, one transfer can go to one member number and second transfer can go to second member number.

Just to clarify you can not transfer the 2022 UY points to two different memberships. Only one.

If you mean that this owner will get your 2021 points in one membership and your 2022 points on a different membership that works on your end.

It won’t work on their end if they have gotten any transfers of 2021 or 2022 points.

MS also now requires a 3 way call with you and the other owner.

This is what I expected but we at least asked MS since already going to transfer 2021 points. Two different MS CMs said they believed the 2022 points could be transferred now but when going through the system there was an issue selecting the points. The CM inquired with technical support and that's when we learned "officially." If not knowing one would normally get a "I'll need to ask for clarification," so it was very strange to get two CMs incorrect on something both sounded very confident and without hesitation.
