No. Points that have been borrowed (or banked) cannot be transferred.

Best wishes -

As posted, the answer is No.

However, transferred points can be banked or borrowed. Note the subtle difference.

If your idea was to borrow some points and transfer them to someone else so they could use them, the answer is no. However you can transfer points first, and then your friends could borrow them once they got into their account.

Ditto its crazy that you cannot borrow points to transfer , but we can take the transfered points and bank or borrow the points. ;)

Caskbill thank you again for your dvc programs, i was just wondering if you are ever going to add Disney collection to your planner ? :teeth:

I believe transferred points can be banked (in some situation) but not borrowed. It's actually easier to bank transferred points than regular points in most situations.

Slightly off-topic, but just to respond in case anyone else is wondering.

No, I will not be adding Disney collection, or any other collections to the planner.

The DVC-Planner has point charts through 2010 based on an algorithm of point adjustments around Easter and Thanksgiving holidays. This allows someone to use the planner year to year with no further need of updates.

The Disney collection changes point requirements annually. To include them in the planner would require the user to obtain annual updates and I don't plan on doing this.

Ok, I'm lost on the subtle difference. If I wanted to transfer some of my March '06 points at this time, I could? Is that correct?

Yes - you should be able to. I just had Sep 05 and Dec 05 points transferred into my account a few weeks back.

Thanks. I'm always in the borrowed mode, and if I ever wanted to rent out or transfer some point, they would have to be in the next use year, so maybe renting/transferring is an option for me.
