Transfer question

I've never fully comprehended this whole use year thing and want to know what I can do to transfer some of my points. My home resort is AKV and here is my balance for my use year on the website:

Dec '11: 5 (thinking I should bank these asap)
Dec '12: 300
Dec '13 300

I'm not planning on being able to make a trip for 2+ years and could use money from a transfer now towards money for school. Would I be permitted to transfer all 605 points to another member if I found someone interested?

You wouldn't be able to transfer banked points. So if you want to transfer those, don't bank them.

You would have to find a member who needed points in their 2011, 2012 and 2103 UYs. They could bank the points forward once (2012 into 2013), but not twice. You would need to transfer all 300 points in each UY at one time. You couldn't transfer some of them to one member and some to another in one UY. But you could transfer 300 to one member and 300 to another.

The Dec 2011 use year starts in a few days. You don't have to bank those points ASAP because you have until July 31, 2012 to bank them into the Dec 2012 use year that begins Dec 1, 2012. Banked points cannot be transfered.

You can transfer, on the same call, points in your current use year (which for you is Dec 2010 as of today but becomes Dec 2011 on Thursday) and points in your next use year. Thus, if you called today the only points you could transfer are the 5 in the 2011 use year. If you wait until Thursday, Dec. 1, you will be able to transfer those 5 plus the 300 coming in Dec 2012, but you could not transfer the points coming in Dec 2013. You won't be able to transfer Dec 2013 until Dec 1, 2012 when your 2012 use year begins.
