Transfer of points between different resort owners

If points are transfered from account A at, lets say BCV, to account B at BWV,
do the points trasfered remain BCV points
or become instead BWV points?

Transferred points will retain their original resort and Use Year.

Some have reported that MS has difficulty tracking the home resort for the points, so if you need that priority, you may need to have MS manually track the origin if they show any resistance. It would seem to be a fairly simple correction to make in the software, so I'd expect the tracking to become automatic at any time.

I can attest to the problem of DVC not being able to track home resort currently. You can force them to do it manually though.

I can also attest to the problem and had to get them to do it manually. If it is important that they remain a specific resort, you need to discuss that with them at the time of the transfer. It is especially a problem if you don't own the property being transferred into your account.
