We are using Sunray this trip, MCO - Resort. I was just curious what most of you tip your drivers? I was thinking $10 each way is that too little? :confused3
Thanks!

What veichle are you using, Seadan, SUV, or Van? Are you making the grocery stop? Under most conditions I would tip 20% of the bill for a seadan, less for the SUV or Van.

EDIT: I don't know, maybe I am thinking more along the lines of different types of transportation. ie. Taxi, Shared Van, etc Looking at this company it seems all veichles should be tipped the same.

According to tipping.org you should tip 20% of the cost of the service for a driver. Just remember, that you may not have the same driver for both legs of the trip, so you will have to tip separately.

If we stop at the grocery store, I tip a little more, as the driver always loads my groceries for me.

I break down the amount into halves...you may not have the same driver each way as someone else has mentioned. Then, it's 20% each way. But, it depends on the service I have gotten. I'm not sure why someone would tip any differently based on the type of vehicle though.

The implied level of service which is expected to be delivered based on veichle type. I'm talking about a insignifigant amount, a couple dollars difference. I guess its just the way I tip.

Thanks for the responses. Just to clairify since it's $82 RT. I should Tip them $16 each way. And yes we are doing a grocery stop on the way to the resort.

Thanks again.

I don't think it's 20% of the RT for each driver. That would equate to a 40% tip if you happen to have the same driver.

It's 20% of the one way fare for each driver.

The last time we took Tiffany Towncars, we tipped $10 each way. I beleive the RT was $95 for the van at that time.

20% of $82 = $16.40, so $10.00 each way is more than sufficient.

Or do I have it all wrong??

Nope, you're spot on.

Ok great. Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'm seeing through it now, for some reason I was reading 20% each way to mean 20% of RT price each way. I will stick w/ my $10 and know I'm being fair!

Thanks again!
