I noticed a thread close to mine but I didn't want to hijack the thread since I have other questions
1. Garden Grocer or Wego shop. Anyone have a preference? I haven't used either.
2. We are staying at the cabins the first 4 days of our trip and then transferring to VWL.
a. Would you have the food delivered at the cabins or at VWL?
b. Has anyone ever had food transferred from one resort to another? Would they refrigerator it?..... thinking not.
My thought was to bring a couple of cold packs with us. Pack our cold food in a separate suitcase that we would bring ourselves (I'm only talking milk, butter, cheese and such), not have Disney transport it. There is the potential of up to 5 hours before the food makes it back to a frig. We are going the 3rd week of August (value season) so I don't anticipate that long a time between rooms.
3. While this is a DVC board has anyone used the BBQ's at the cabins? Is it propane or is it charcoal?
Any input anyone has would be truly appreciated. We are very new to DVC May '09. Our last trip (our first for DVC) was last week for 5 days so that doesn't count. My son and husband are looking to do a 2 week trip each year and we don't like to eat out all of the time. That having been said we only have enough points for a studio, FOR RIGHT NOW
just another reason for more points. It really is a sickness. Since May of 2009 we have made a total of 3 transactions LOL.
