tram in the Timon Parking lot????

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Expansion of the Disneyland Resort, the Timon Parking Lot has been closed and no longer exists.

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort are invited to park in one of the other Parking Areas.

yup, it's closed now, you'll be directed to park elsewhere if you're parking and there is no tram from that lot anymore.

There is handicapped parking on the first floor of the Mickey and Friends structure - but it stumps me why it's there! You have to WALK all the way from the first floor thru the Pinocchio lot over to the openning to the tram area - a significant walk for some handicapped folks (like my 86 year old mother ) who don't have their own wheelchairs.

I did notice some handicapped parking on higher floors recently - not sure if you can request that instead.

So ALL Disney parking is in 1 parking Structure?? Weird and inconvenient??

We are booked at the Best Western Pavilion. What is the Closest way to DL? We will have 2 off site rental scooters.

Thats not true. Disney has a few parking areas.

-Simba is opened with its own payment booths. Will have a tram as soon as they finish the edgings of Cars land.

-GardenWalk parking garage is also an option, they have shuttles running to DLR...

-Puumba is also opened, though rumor is that its going down in the Fall for a parking structure. They might have shuttles running for that one but most ppl just walk it anyways.

-Anaheim Convention center is the current overflow parking. If it is needed, there is also a shuttle running for it if other lots are full. but it has not opened since the beginning of the summer break season...

It's gone :( It was our cut through when we stayed at the Sheraton Park or the Hilton. Oh well.

There goes my short cut....

I changed hotels. Now we are at Desert Inn and Suites, my favorite hotel!! And much closer to DL Entrance

Puumba lot has busses that run very consistently. When we stayed at the La Quinta at Katella and Clementine, one day the kids were tired of walking, so we hopped on the bus.
Its funny though...instead of just saying Puumba Bus, all the signs (and even the sign on the bus itself) read Puumba Tram. As if we wouldn't recognize a bus as a mode of transportation!
