Do I need to 'reserve' this through DCL, or can we just walk over and go on it ourselves (and pay when we get there)?

Thanks,
DJ

No need to reserve anything. It's almost right across the street from the cruise ship pier. You can just show up and pay as you go.

yayasi-

They put 4 people in our tram when we went. It was not crowded when we were there. They could probably fit several more people in if needed.

The view is great, but the shops/restaurant at the top were disappointing. They were just typical souvineer shops.

Godfrey tours took us on a 2 hour tour. He was great. We couldn't find him at first so we settled with some guy we met along the waterfront. What a joke. We met up with him up at the top of the mountain. Our guy just dropped us off and said see ya in 25 minutes, and I heard another tour guide giving a detailed overview of what we were seeing up there on that mountain, and I looked over and it was Godfrey. Godfrey was so much better, I just found his name on another web site that posted many reviews from different shore excursions. Some of them just drive you around, but this guy really gave us a tour with so much information. http://www.godfreytoursvi.com/
