Hi Everyone!!

I am going to Italy with my family in September and I thought I could sneak on a quick trip to Disneyland Paris before or after. Do y’all have recommendations on the best train companies to get around Europe. I know I could use Easy Jet if I plan to fly,- I’ve taken them before- but I know taking trains throughout Europe is a nice way to explore. Thanks for your help in advance!!!

I love travelling by train, you can take the Thalys to Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam or the Eurostar to London from DLP.
If you leave from Paris you will find high speed trains to countries like Germany, Italy, Switzerland.

When the train takes about 4 hours it is roughly the same amount it can take to fly. With all the time needed for going to the airport on time, the flight itself and travelling from the airport to the city.

Brussels and Antwerp are about 2 hours away and the train is always faster.

If you go further, like Italy, flying will be faster.

One side note for flying in Europe at this very moment (no idea how it will be in September), more than one airport in Europe has problems with staffing, at airlines and at customs. This results in long lines. For me, I have 2 trips to Paris/DLP planned in June and July, I had planned to fly due to arrival times, I am going by train purely to avoid the lines at the airport now.
