In all my trips to the world I was unaware of this restaurant till I started reading here. How would one get to it from Wilderness Lodge? Do they serve breakfast? Is it better than grabbing something at WL? We will have a vehicle so transpo is not a problem. TIA.

Fastest way is to take the boat from WL to FW. Trails End is just a walk away from the boat dock.

I've never done breakfast there only lunch and we love going there. Great value for the price. I hear breakfast is good too.

WL is our favorite resort and we love boating over to Trails End for breakfast. The food is hot and delicious and a really good deal. It is cheaper and quicker than the WCC at WL, more expensive and not as quick but much better than graping something at counter service at WL. We love the place for any meal.

The Breakfast at Trails End is the best. We've stayed in the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness many times and the Trails end for breakfast is a good way to start the day at MK. You can really skip lunch and have an early dinner if you eat breakfast there.

Very reasonably prices and the CM's are the best.

We always do breakfast at the Trails End on our MK day. The easiest way from the WL is taking the boat to FW.

The breakfast is GREAT...food is really down home, lots of it and nice and hot. The doughnuts are to die for, and made on the premises. The service has always been very friendly and helpful for us. Our boys love eating breakfast there. We eat a big breakfast and then skip lunch (or eat a snacky type lunch) and then we always make a p.s. somewhere for a good dinner. Best of all, the value at Trails End can't be beat!!

Can you tell we love it??!!:p

I can't say enough good things about breakfast at Trail's End. In June we stayed at WL and we did indeed take the boat over. Very quick and easy.

The breakfast itself was amazing .. amazing selection, amazing service, amazing price. My husband and I have actually talked about this breakfast wistfully ever since we got home. (No, it doesn't take much to amuse us. lol) We're soooo looking forward to going back there. The breakfast there is much, much better than what you can get at WL, in my opinion. Definitely give it a try.

An Overlooked Gem of WDW Dining....
Great Comfort Food at a Great Price in a Great Atmosphere.

Great Place, we find it a great place to take our 3 boys,(big now and still LOVE it!)

.. they love the food, and can completely fill them up at a reasonable price. We tend to try to make it fairly late then walk back to the boat dock for a great finish with the water light parade. We have also gone to the free campground movie afterwards!

(super memories of Mulan and Blackbeards Ghost under the stars!)

BTW: think you'll find the boat launch will get you there much faster than the drive.

My parents and my husband and I loved Trail's End. We did breakfast there once. Lunch 2 times (with the 10% AP discount) and dinner once in the 9 days we were in WDW.

The food quality is wonderful and the servers are the best. We always took the boat from the Magic Kingdom to go there. We enjoyed just sitting in the rockers on the front porch and watching people. It was a great, relaxing breather before heading back to the parks.
